The new core operating system came online on July 2019 in all branches. This is the world’s first insurance core operating system with private clouds and microservices architecture, becoming the first “product factory” in China. With the application of new core system, operating efficiency has been improved dramatically. Now the new operating system can not only complete product configuration and make quick response to market demand, but also meet differentiated customer requirements efficiently. Insurance products now can be brought online for service within three days instead of three months, among which simple products can be brought online in real time. Eventually, new core operating system can realize the goal to offer customized products to high-end customers, differentiated products to middle-end customers and standard products to common customers.
